Ministry of Digital Transformation launches offline Diia Support Teams nationwide
This week, the Ministry of Digital Transformation starts opening offline Diia offices in the regions, where the support service will help Ukrainians with the generation of COVID certificates. They will work in the mass vaccination points.
This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov during an inspection of one of such assistance points in Kyiv.
"We have launched five points in Kyiv at vaccination stations last week. These include a train station and an airport. We saw that a lot of people come up and ask how to use not only certificates, but also one or another service. We now understand the need to help people across the country. That is why for the second week I visit mass vaccination centers almost every day, I communicate with people, medical workers," Mykhailo Fedorov said.
One can consulted in offline points regarding the following issues:
- learn about the types of COVIDcertificates and ways to obtain them;
- apply for a COVID certificate on the Diia portal and in application;
- what data to check that the certificate is generated if the problem arose by mistake of the doctor (family or the person who carried out vaccination);
- determine the error of certificate generation;
- what to do to extend the validity of the certificate from 6 months to 365 days.
By the end of this week, more than 100 support points will be opened in 20 regions of Ukraine. The purpose of the Ministry is to open such points in mass vaccination centers in each region. Mykhailo Fedorov noted that local authorities and volunteers are helping to open offline points.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, about 500 people turn to the support points every day. Some of the appeals are from elderly people who need additional consultation. There are also enough young people who want to be sure that the certificate will be generated and it will alow them to travel with it.
To date, more than 8 million COVID certificates have been generated in Diia. Their number is growing every day. According to Mykhailo Fedorov, the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation is currently working on the implementation of algorithms that will automatically correct the mistakes of doctors in the electronic healthcare system: "Most mistakes are due to the fact that doctors enter data incorrectly due to workload. We understand this, so we try to help health workers to lessen their burden. We have created several algorithms that will automatically correct errors in advance. Soon everything will work as it should - both in terms of data quality and in terms of sustainability."
