The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has published a list of economic entities that produce goods of social significance and will be able to receive for their activities natural gas of domestic production with a limited margin of 25 percent.

The Order of 05.01.2022 № 3 "On approval of the list of economic entities whose main activity is, in particular, the production of food products of significant social importance" approves the relevant list of enterprises whose main activity is the manufacturing of food products of social significance: wheat flour, pasteurized milk, rye-wheat bread, chicken eggs, poultry (dressed chicken) and sunflower oil.

The aforesaid document will allow producers not to terminate production and not to raise prices for socially important products.

It should be noted that on December 31, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine Vadym Chagarovsky, Director of the National Association of Dairy of Ukraine Ukrmolprom Vasyl Bondarenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Poultry Breeders of Ukraine Oleksandr Bakumenko, Director of the Public Association Flour Mills of Ukraine Rodion Rybchynskyy, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrkhlibprom Bakery Association of Ukraine Oleksandr Vasylchenko, President of Ukrainian Bakers’ Association Yuriy Duchenko, and General Director of the Ukroliyaprom Association Stepan Kapshuk signed a Memorandum of Understanding on stabilizing the prices on natural gas of domestic production aimed to meet the needs of economic entities that produce goods of particular social significance.
