The Ukrainian road industry can already boast with a new quality of work - both from the point of view of construction technologies and from the point of view of traffic safety issues. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine while staying on the section of route M-12 Stryi-Ternopil-Kropyvnytsky-Znamianka in Vinnytsia region. This is also part of the transport corridor GO Highway, for which this year the Government has allocated UAH 4 billion. The Head of Government inspected a section of 5 km. But, according to the plan, this year it is planned to repair about 20 sections along this route.
"When I assumed office of Prime Minister, I determined that roads are among the top priorities. Without a developed infrastructure, the economy will never boost. We have created a system. There is a Road Fund that bases in the center. There is a road development strategy, and we are witnessing its implementation. This is critical for Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens and the economy", said Volodymyr Groysman. "This year we have allocated a record sum worth UAH 55 billion. We can already show off a new quality of road construction technology. If the road fails the quality check, we do not pay for the work done."
The Head of Government stressed that all plans voiced for the current year will be implemented - both in the context of road repairs and in the context of pursuing other urgent reforms for the country.
"All the programs that have been planned will be implemented", said Volodymyr Groysman.
