The economy of Ukraine demonstrates good growing tendencies, and 3% economic growth achieved in the first quarter of the year is far from the limit of opportunities. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said in an interview with the 112.UA TV channel.

"In the first quarter the economy grew by 0.5% and this growth exceeded our forecast and amounted to 3.1%.We have a good tendency now. But we must understand - this is not what corresponds to our potential. We can produce more products, Volodymyr Groysman said. - And even 3% growth  encapsulates production of goods to the tune of UAH 471 billion. This is a serious number.  We focus on supporting the economy. It is important for us to continue implementation of structural changes. "

The Head of Government stressed that the growth process requires resources, inter alia investments, and this in turn requires trust of investors, partners, citizens, confidence in the fight against corruption, deregulation, creating a normal climate. "I think  it’s possible to ensure leverage investment in the coming years," the Prime Minister added.
