Ukraine is actively looking for ways of effective cooperation between business and the state, and public-private partnership is currently the most effective tool. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in a statement at the Kyiv International Economic Forum on October 7.
"Over the past 30 years, no highway has been built in the largest country in Europe. We have embarked on this work. Next year, I assure you, we will construct the first autobahn from Krakovets to Lviv and Rivne. All researches have been conducted, traffic studied, we already have potential project participants," the Head of Government noted.
The Prime Minister stressed that the legal framework had been adopted, which allows such projects to be implemented in the future.
"We already have the next 5 projects for the construction of highways, in which investors are interested," said Denys Shmyhal, emphasizing that the state will develop a PPP tool in all sectors of the economy.
