Maxym Stepanov: Ministry of Health provided the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital with a three-months PCR test kits reserve

The Ministry of Health responded to the request of the National Сhildren's Specilized Hospital "Okhmatdyt" and gave the institution 768 PCR and 2,000 ELISA test kits. Thus, the Ministry has covered the institution's need for PCR tests for the upcoming three months.

The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov stated at a daily briefing held today at the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital.

“Yesterday we passed PCR tests, which satisfy a three-month need for this hospital. We also passed 2,000 ELISA tests. These test systems can be used for testing both children and parents who are staying in Okhmatdyt", said Maxym Stepanov.

According to the Minister, Child Protection Day which is marked on June 1, is a good opportunity to publicly raise the issue of protecting the health of children in Ukraine who need the attention of society and the state. "At that, providing high-quality, qualified medical care not only to children but also to all Ukrainians is the main priority for our team," Maxym Stepanov summed up.
