We should join forces with communities to develop a single mechanism in the field of prosthetics, says Inna Solodka
Prosthetics is among the priorities of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity. This was emphasised by Inna Solodka, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, during the panel discussion "Preserving Human Capital: When You Can Live Life to the Fullest" at the All-Ukrainian Forum of Social Change Leaders.
"Every day, we are faced with the need for prosthetics for military personnel, civilians, and children. Our task is to develop a system that makes people feel that the state cares about them, which is why the service must be provided in a prompt, high-quality, and comprehensive manner," said Inna Solodka.
The Deputy Minister also noted that changes are currently being developed to the pilot project on the introduction of comprehensive social services for building resilience, in particular, the philosophy of providing such services is changing.
During the discussion on the importance of partnership between the state and communities, Inna Solodka emphasised the need for joint efforts in providing social support.
"We must join forces with communities and work as a single chain. The joint work of the state and communities should be a unified mechanism centred on the individual. Every step, every service, every action should support Ukrainians," emphasised the Deputy Minister.
