The Government endorsed a decree to conduct major overhaul of the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod main gas pipeline.

The decree is designed to implement a number of decisions regarding the implementation of the unbundling.

The issue at stake is transferring loans disbursed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and European Investment Bank (EIB) from JSC Ukrtransgaz to LLC Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine.
