Lviv Customs Office informs about another shipment of 1,500 tons of humanitarian aid

Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, posted 04 March 2022 18:08

The Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna said that the Lviv Customs had received additional information about 1,500 tons of humanitarian assistance. Thus, in two days, March 2 - 3, Ukraine received almost 2,500 tons of humanitarian aid.

It should be noted that now when importing humanitarian aid to the territory of Ukraine the following is applied:

- it is unnecessary to receive a separate decision on the recognition of the cargo as humanitarian aid,

- the recipient does not have to be included in the Unified Register of Humanitarian Aid Recipients,

- the clearance occurs without the application of measures of non-tariff regulation of foreign economic activity,

- Customs and Border Services provide immediate passage of humanitarian aid across the State Border of Ukraine.
