Following the meeting of Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, with the Korean business community during her working visit to Seoul, the Korea-Ukraine Association of Trade and Industry (KUATI) has prepared a programme of immediate support for Ukrainian public sector enterprises.
The programme includes technical assistance, particularly for machinery and equipment manufactured by KUATI members.
“TYM, a leading tractor manufacturer in the Republic of Korea, has decided to donate 14 sets of heavy agricultural machinery as technical assistance. Also, KUATI members are preparing the next tranche of assistance, which may include several thousand individual water purification systems that can be used in the affected regions. We are grateful to the Korean government and business community for their support and willingness to become part of the process of post-war recovery of Ukraine,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian delegation with the participation of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska is currently visiting the Republic of Korea. During the meetings with the country’s leadership, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko presented the potential of Ukrainian companies and outlined the prospects for investment in Ukraine. She called on Korean businesses to finance development projects, which, according to the Ministry of Economy, require more than USD 500 billion.
