Ukraine Reform Conference, which will be held in Vilnius on July 7, 2020, will gather more than 400 high-level delegations from the European Union, NATO and other interested countries and international institutions, civil society and business organizations, scientists, representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora and the media outlets. This was discussed at the first meeting of the working group on the conference chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Dmytro Kuleba.

Ukraine Reform Conference in Vilnius will be the fourth; the first took place in 2017 in London. The format of the event is aimed to enhance and demonstrate to the world Ukraine’s reform process to build a strong, successful European democracy.

"The uniqueness of the annual reform conference is that it is the only high-level international event outside Ukraine dedicated solely to Ukraine. We can’t waste this chance," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Dmytro Kuleba placed a special emphasis on the need to ensure the preparation and conduct of the high-level conference. This requires proper coordination of all bodies involved and active communication about the event outside the country. "Thus, the decision was made to establish this working group to address strategic issues and overall coordination in preparation and organization. This year's conference will be a kind of international presentation of the results and plans of the new Ukrainian government," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

High-level meetings with the participation of the President and the Prime Minister, as well as panel discussions with the participation of ministers, parliamentarians and public representatives, are scheduled to be held within the framework of the Conference. It is planned to discuss the priorities of the ambitious government reform plan and the opportunities it encompasses. These will include structural reforms in the economic sphere, measures to improve the business climate, the implementation of good governance, the development of the digital state and others. Business representatives will learn about investment opportunities in Ukraine. High-level delegates will discuss separately the security situation and support for Ukraine in protecting its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
