Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk leading the team of the Ministry arrived in Poland. Ukrainian officials and their Polish counterparts will discuss the issues of expansion of border crossing capacities for various types of transport, simplification of cargo transportation and clearance procedures, joint border control, etc.
The program of the visit includes participation in the international conference titled “Polish-Ukrainian border – a chance or a barrier to development?”, meetings with representatives of the Polish authorities, leaders of NGOs, as well as visiting the Spilno Lublin public space, created with the support of UNICEF for young people from Poland and Ukraine.
As a reminder, from the first day of the full-scale invasion, Poland has been providing Ukraine with comprehensive and decisive support. In fact, it has become a logistics hub for our country. In addition, millions of Ukrainians have found shelter here. Today’s visit is another platform for improvement of transport communication between Ukraine and the European Union.
