The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting on April 17 approved the draft law and regulations seek to ratify the Free Trade Agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Israel. The relevant documents will be shortly submitted to the Parliament.
The ratification of the Free Trade Agreement by the Parliament will enable to wind up the completion of the internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the Agreement. The ratification of the Agreement will also contribute to the further development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Israel.
It should be noted that the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Israel was signed on January 21, 2019. The agreement is aimed at bilateral liberalization and elimination of barriers to trade between Ukraine and Israel. The agreement also creates additional opportunities for Ukrainian exporters to expand markets for sales, cooperation, development and modernization of their own production in Ukraine.
