Ukraine has demonstrated its resilience and ability to deliver despite the war and unprecedented challenges. This has proved possible by the courage of the Ukrainian people and the consistent support of our international partners.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized this at the 17th meeting of the Ukrainian Donor Platform during URC-2026.

“This format has already proven its effectiveness. Since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion, we have mobilized more than EUR 300 billion in support,” emphasized the Head of Government.

Yulia Svyrydenko thanked Ukraine’s partners for the financial instruments that have helped preserve Ukraine’s macro-financial stability, including the IMF programs, the Ukraine Facility, World Bank assistance, and other support provided by the allies.

Today, Ukraine also received the first EUR 3.2 billion tranche under the EU’s Ukraine Support Loan, one of the key mechanisms for strengthening our defense capabilities and financing essential budget needs.

“We value every form of cooperation. At the same time, we are candid that financing for 2027 will require additional decisions. Ukraine needs coordinated and predictable support from its partners. For our part, we remain committed to delivering on our international obligations and implementing the reforms necessary for full EU membership,” noted Yulia Svyrydenko.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is not only a recipient of support. “We are also ready to be a partner, sharing our unique experience in defense, energy resilience, and digital transformation. Today, partnering with Ukraine is an investment in a stronger and more secure Europe,” underlined Yulia Svyrydenko.

The Prime Minister thanked all the partners of Ukraine for trust and continued support.
