  • Reintegration of de-occupied territories is the priority of this year: Iryna Vereshchuk

    The priority of this year is the reintegration of the de-occupied territories, stated Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk in a TV interview. According to her, on the eve of the New Year, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the Action Plan of the executive authorities and local self-government bodies for the restoration of the de-occupied territories.

    The document was developed by the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories on behalf of the Prime Minister and is the main guideline for further activities in the liberated territories.

    It provides for a number of urgent measures: clearing the territories from mines, restoration of power and law enforcement activities, hryvnia circulation and treasury services, restoration of social payments and pensions, provision of food, essential goods, medicines, medical care, etc.

    "On December 30, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted an action plan for the state and executive authorities, local self-government, the State Emergency Service, law enforcement agencies and all the bodies that enter the liberated settlements. Everyone knows the scope of responsibility and work. We will return full life to our cities and villages," the Deputy Prime Minister summed up.
