
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk met with UN representatives to tackle future cooperation
On May 16, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk met with Deputy Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Manal Fouani.
The parties discussed priority issues of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories and areas of cooperation in the reconstruction and support of war-affected regions.
In particular, among the issues for discussion were the implementation of a new UNDP demining project, the creation of an interactive platform for marking damaged buildings, as well as the possibility of their restoration.
It should be noted that during the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk with the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mr. Michał Dworczyk, the creation in Ukraine of the Klymentii Sheptytsky Foundation was announced.
The Foundation's mission is to support Ukrainian military orphans and provide assistance to women servicemen who have been returned from russian captivity.
