Ministers Iryna Friz and Tomo Medved signed the first international Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Veterans’ Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.

"The document provides for cooperation on the exchange of knowledge and experience in the areas of ensuring the rights and interests of war veterans and their family members, in terms of providing psychological support, employment and increasing the competitiveness of veterans in the labor market, as well as work on improving the availability of obtaining information on existing rights, social services and opportunities", said Iryna Friz.

The signing of the document involves the implementation of joint programs, events and projects, as well as the joint development of proposals and recommendations; the participation in the implementation of national, regional and international initiatives.

"I am grateful to the Minister for his willingness to share experience and best practices and an opportunity to start cooperation in the areas of psychosocial assistance, under a program of the search for missing persons, the formation of a positive image of veteran, etc.", stressed the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs of Ukraine.
