Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry for European Integration Natalia Boiko, on the outcomes of the Ukrainian Forum on Natural Gas Exploration and Production that took place in London on January 29 this year, informed about the interest of business in investing in the oil and gas sector of Ukraine's economy.

"The most important message there was observed real interest. There were a lot of questions not only about the 12 competitions on product-sharing agreements announced by the Government in December 2018, but also about online ProZorro oil and gas auctions. It is crucial that the second round of online oil and gas auctions has already been announced, and the following 7 lots for bidding have been put off", Natalia Boiko said.

"In addition, six new foreign energy companies visited the event and received a full portfolio of offers. The two largest service companies start their business in Ukraine, will soon open offices, others actively study the market ", informed the Deputy Minister, noting the progress in leveraging investment.

Natalia Boiko also highly appreciated the level of organization of the event, the interest among the participants, and thanked the Association of Gas Producers of Ukraine (AGPU) and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine Natalia Galibarenko for their support and consistent work.
