Inflationary processes in the segment, first of all, of food products remain within the bounds of seasonal fluctuations. This data has been provided by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine. Thus, inflation in March 2018 compared to February amounted to 1.1%.
Prices for milk reduced by 0.4%, for eggs by 0.7% and for sugar by 0.7%. Prices for vegetables and fruits rose most of all (by 3-5%). The said price hike was projected by taking into account remaining stocks of these food products.
In the segment of non-food products and tariff services, the situation is equally controlled. The cost of housing maintenance and repairs increased by 1.6%, but at the same time tariffs for gas, heating, hot water supply and electricity remain unchanged. Prices for transport decreased by 0.7 %, for fuels and oils by 2.5%.
