Ihor Klymenko: Active military and the police are at the core of the Offensive Guard

In an interview with the United News telethon, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko spoke about the formation of eight assault brigades of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Offensive Guard, and focused on the principles of their formation.

According to the Minister, the recruitment campaign for the Offensive Guard is currently popular among citizens.

“The backbone of the brigades are active military and the police. They are the core that will teach others and form the basis of all relationships within the units. These are people who have been through combat. The other part is civilian volunteers,” he emphasized.

According to the Minister, “these two fists” – current and future fighters – “should make these brigades a great force.”
