In 2024, the state paid 375 grants in the amount of UAH 1.788 billion under the Grants for Processing Enterprises programme. In particular, the Ministry of Economy transferred UAH 900.9 million to 181 enterprises, and another 194 grants worth UAH 887.5 million were provided through the State Employment Centre.
“In total, since the start of the programme in 2022, the state has approved 1,156 applications for the creation and development of production facilities worth UAH 5.8 billion. In October, the Government expanded business opportunities – grants became available for companies from the active combat zone and producers of printed products. In addition, the grantee is now obliged to create only 5 new jobs, regardless of the size of the grant. This gives them the opportunity to determine their HR policy independently – for example, a grantee of UAH 8 million can hire 25 employees with a salary of UAH 10,000, or a smaller number of highly qualified specialists with higher salaries,” said Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy.
The programme is designed for manufacturing companies, including producers of food, furniture, chemicals, metal products, woodworking and textile industries, and others. The grant can be used to purchase and install production equipment, including software.
The programme is funded from the state budget through the Ministry of Economy and the Mandatory State Social Insurance Fund through the State Employment Centre.
