Grants for processing companies: Ministry of Economy approves 22 new applications for almost UAH 109 million
The Ministry of Economy has approved a new list of companies and entrepreneurs whose applications have scored the required number of points to receive funds under the Grants for Processing Enterprises program. This time, 22 business representatives received a positive decision. After fulfilling the program conditions, they will be granted grants totaling UAH 108.9 million. The program is part of the Government's “Made in Ukraine” policy for the promotion of producers. It gives businesses the opportunity to receive co-financing to modernize or expand production facilities.
"Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Economy has already approved 135 applications for over UAH 664.4 million. Some of the funds have already been attracted by entrepreneurs, and the rest will be received after the program conditions are met. The program is designed for those who operate transparently, have a development plan and want to increase their competitiveness. Among the entrepreneurs whose applications have been selected are manufacturers of furniture, construction mixtures, pharmaceuticals, cardboard and paper, plastics, metal, wood, food products, and agricultural producers. It is worth reminding that if an application is not successful the first time, it can be corrected and submitted again," said Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
Under the program, the Ministry of Economy will fund 7 grants worth UAH 37.4 million, and the State Employment Service of Ukraine will fund the remaining 15. Applications are submitted on a regular basis, in waves of two weeks. A new wave started on June 7. Documents can be submitted through the Diia platform. As a reminder, in 2024, the state provided 375 grants worth UAH 1.8 billion to producers.
The procedure for processing applications:
Step 1: Submit an application with a business plan through the Diia platform. The application is automatically sent to the selected bank.
Step 2: Verification by the bank (tax debts, credit history, analysis of the business plan, visit to the enterprise).
Step 3: The decision is made by the Ministry of Economy or the State Employment Service.
Step 4: After the co-financing share is paid, the funds are transferred to the applicant.
The expected timeframe for receiving funding is 1-1.5 months after the wave is completed and all conditions are met.
