Today, on February 27, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution "On Approval of the Regulations on National Contact Points and the Coordination Center of the European Union Framework Program for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe and the European Atomic Energy Community Research and Training Program (2021-2025), complementary to the Horizon Europe program.

The purpose of the Resolution is to implement the Agreement between Ukraine, on the one hand, and the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community, on the other hand, on Ukraine's participation in the Horizon Europe Framework Program for Research and Innovation and the Euratom Research and Training Program (2021-2025), complementary to the Horizon Europe Framework Program for Research and Innovation.

The approved document determines the principles for the selection and operation of national contact points and the Coordination Center. This will create a strong infrastructure support for the Horizon Europe and Euratom programs, as well as strengthen the participation of Ukrainian organizations in these programs.

The Ministry will soon announce a competitive selection for national contact points.

As a reminder, the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine was established on the basis of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine, and representatives from Ukraine were selected to the program committees.
