Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko and U.S. Ambassador Bridget Brink talked about Ukrainian-American cooperation in rebuilding and developing Ukraine's energy sector.

The Minister of Energy of Ukraine informed about the current situation in the energy sector and the process of recovery after massive russian attacks on the energy infrastructure.

German Galushchenko thanked the American side for the unprecedented assistance of the United States in supplying energy equipment and supporting Ukraine in the future development of a new modern energy system.

"The Ministry of Energy is finalizing a new strategy that will provide short- and long-term solutions for the restoration and development of the Ukrainian energy sector. It will include new approaches to ensuring energy security and a "green" energy transition based on a mix of nuclear and renewable generation. Particular attention will be paid to the decentralization of the energy system," said German Galushchenko.
