German Galushchenko: Today, electricity generation is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers

“Thanks to the incredible efforts of power engineers, we manage to keep the generation, delivery and distribution of electricity at the required level to meet the needs of consumers,” said Minister of Energy German Galushchenko.

However, in some regions, in particular in Odesa and Khmelnytsky regions, stabilization blackouts are possible due to grid repairs.

These successes come at a high price, the price of human life. In the frontline regions, power engineers are working under fire and in dangerous places.

“Unfortunately, there have been tragic incidents in recent days. The vehicles of Mykolaivoblenergo and Kharkivoblenergo repair crews hit mines. There is one dead and many injured. My sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and a speedy recovery to the injured,” said German Galushchenko.
