Government keeps preferential gas prices in place for households and heat producers through the end of the heating season

The Government has kept the current preferential gas prices for households and heat producers in place until March 31, effectively through the end of the heating season. This was announced by Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi.
"This decision was made under the moratorium on tariff increases introduced by Parliament for the duration of martial law, and with the country's difficult socio-economic situation in mind," the Head of Government emphasized.
He added that, in line with commitments to international partners, the Government is working with other authorities to improve tariff policy and introduce fair and transparent tariff-setting, while expanding targeted assistance for those who genuinely need it.
