    The Cabinet of Ministers during a regular sitting on October 28, decided to reallocate UAH 242 million to the program to the program to fight the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine.

    According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, these funds will allow to purchase more rapid tests, improve the level of testing, as well as complete the implementation of a joint project with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development of vaccine storage infrastructure.

    The Prime Minister also noted that currently most regions of Ukraine are in the "red" zone, and stressed the importance of vaccination.

    "This week about 250,000 vaccinations were made a day. There are currently 9 million doses of vaccine at vaccination centers. We will receive another 19 million doses by the end of this year. Thanks to the coordinated work of the President, the Government, and the Verkhovna Rada, we have provided the country with a sufficient number of vaccines so that everyone can be vaccinated. Our goal remains the same - vaccination of the majority of the adult population by the end of the year," Denys Shmyhal underscored.

    According to the Prime Minister, more than 30% of the adult population in Ukraine is currently vaccinated with at least one dose. At the same time, according to the PM. in Ukraine 95% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 are unvaccinated.
