  • Prime Minister stands for active involvement of youth in country’s development and restoration of patriotic education in schools

    Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman advocates for active involvement of young people in the country’s development  and  introduction of patriotic upbringing of children in schools. The Head of Government  issued this statement during a meeting with the laureates of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prize.

    The Prize is one of the  government support tools for talented boys and girls, the award amount is UAH 50 thousand. The award is granted for active participation in human rights and political activities, development of local self-government, national patriotic education, volunteer activities, protection of territorial integrity, development of socially responsible business, cultural and artistic and scientific activities.

    Addressing the laureates the Prime Minister emphasized that everyone has his own way and vision of the future. "But the essential thing: you do remain indifferent to the processes that are taking place in the country. Our reforms are not just changes. This is the foundation of a new Ukrainian state", he stressed.

    Volodymyr Groysman drew attention to the fact that now it is necessary to work in synergy with youth organizations as well as to support them. " Patriotic education is needed not as out of school hours, but within the framework of the school curriculum. We are ready to allocate funds for the introduction of new programs and subjects ", the Prime Minister underscored.
