The Prime Minister of Ukraine considers that the State has the potential to solve two issues simultaneously - both to allot UAH 300 million for additional financing of the army, and to ensure the holding of the Independence Day Military Parade on August 24. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said at a session of the Government.
"I think the parade is neсessary, and it should become a parade of dignity and valor of our troops, an expression of respect to the military. I commission the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense to calculate the expenses for holding a parade - not at the expense of raising social standards, but at the expense of other sources", said Volodymyr Groysman. "At that, the proposal of the President of Ukraine to direct UAH 300 million to raise standards for soldiers is also relevant. And I back that. The issue of financial support for our soldiers has been and remains one of the topmost priorities. The Ukrainian military already receives over UAH 10,000".
