July 9, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has taken part in the inauguration ceremony of President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara.
The Head of the Government was accompanied by members of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as the Presidential Commissioner on issues of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev.
Turkey is an important economic and political partner for Ukraine. A special emphasis should be placed in the fact that Turkey consistently stands for the fruitful trade cooperation with Ukraine and defends political initiatives, in particular protecting the rights of the Crimean Tatars. In 2017 trade flows between Ukraine and Turkey rose by 20.1 % to $3.78 billion, with a surplus of $1.26 billion.
