The Ukrainian product should take a rightful place in the world markets as creation of free trade regimes will fully contribute to this process. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman made this statement, commenting on the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Israel on Monday, January 21. The talks have been conducting for several years, and as a result, the State of Israel became the 46th country in the world, with which Ukraine has close trade links at the FTA level.
"Markets of the European Union and Canada are open for us, we have shaped efficient agreement between Ukraine and Israel. On Monday, this Agreement was signed - now it should be implemented. A huge amount of work has been done", Volodymyr Groysman stressed.
The Head of Government thanked everyone who conducted these talks and he commissioned to actively engage in negotiations with Turkey with which FTA is being shaped.
"A new task is to round off negotiations with Turkey. Political agreement is reached, now it is technically necessary to finalize this issue ", the Prime Minister said.
He also instructed the First Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv to create expert group to visit the regions in order to tell business circles about new export opportunities.
