Prime Minister on the work of pension system: Everything works smoothly, we are preparing for automatic recalculation of pensions

The pension system of Ukraine is stable, and now, after the adoption of the State Budget for 2019, experts are shaping technical conditions for conducting for the first time in history automatic recalculation of pension payments- for military personnel from January 1, 2019, for other categories of citizens - from March 1, 2019. This was discussed during the meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman with  Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrii Reva and Head of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Yevhen Kapinus.

The attendees placed a special emphasis on the fact that all work is being carried out ahead of the schedule - without failures and according to a clear blueprint. The situation is completely controlled, most issues are solved as usual.

The Head of Government stressed that a whole system should be prepared. "We have three stages - from December 1 - raising the minimum pension, January 1 - recalculation of pensions for military pensioners, from March 1 - automatic recalculation of pensions to other categories of citizens. Volodymyr Groysman emphasized that the system should be ready and he commissioned to continue the smooth work of the whole pension system and to consolidate the work of all regional units in order to ensure stable situation in regions.
