Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk introduced the new head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention Oleksandr Novikov.
"It will not be easy for a person who is fighting corruption among those holding top positions. But I do not question Mr. Novikov's professional competence - I believe that he will succeed in ensuring honest, transparent and, most importantly, efficient work of the Agency. The NACP leader must demonstrate zero tolerance for corruption! Just like the rest of the Agency's employees," the Head of Government emphasized.
He addressed all NACP employees: "All those who imitate violent activity, pretend to be busy working and checking information just to show up - do not waste our time, write a letter of resignation right away!"
Oleksiy Honcharuk also thanked Natalia Novak, who during a difficult transition period had assumed the responsible role of acting NACP chairman and ensured a smooth transfer of affairs to the new leader.
The Prime Minister stressed that the fight against corruption is a top priority of the Government, and the good and uninterrupted work of anti-corruption institutions is an integral part of it.
