The Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko held telephone talks with the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy of the United Kingdom Kwasi Kwarteng.

The talks focused on the current state of the energy domain, the losses in the energy sector due to russia's military aggression, as well as the challenges of the upcoming heating season.

The parties also stressed the need to continue the sanctions policy against the russian federation, and in this context discussed the importance of the decisions adopted at the G7 Summit.

"I am grateful to my British colleagues and partners for their constant comprehensive assistance to Ukraine, which every time strengthens our confidence in winning on the energy front," German Galushchenko said.

The Secretary of State Kwasi Kwarteng, in turn, assured of Britain’s further support for Ukraine.
