The geoportal of spatial data already has about 1000 sets of data of different types and different territorial coverage of Ukraine. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Roman Leshchenko told about it, presenting the project of the National Infrastructure of Geospatial Data at the All-Ukrainian Forum “Ukraine 30. Land".

"The Geoportal of spatial data is actually a living organism that will constantly grow and be filled with geospatial and metadata of the country. So far, we have entered more than 70 TC data into the geoportal. The key fact is that the search service works in real time. There is also an analysis of the revision of metadata, displaying the use of information in electronic format. All services will be fully available to users. We plan to cover the whole country in a short time," Roman Leshchenko said.

According to him, the geoportal will allow to ensure maximum digitization of public processes, to use a single cartographic basis, to eliminate unnecessary discussions.

"Geoportal is about publicity and transparency of state information. This is a serious impetus to improve public control, deregulation of all procedures, which will certainly contribute to investment and economic development of the country," Roman Leshchenko added.
