The Government has adopted a resolution that will speed up and simplify the import of military goods to the maximum extent possible. In particular, the import of UAVs and components to the territory of Ukraine. This will allow our defenders to receive and use technology at the front more quickly.

The document was developed jointly by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the relevant changes were approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on February 14, 2023.

Technology is essential on the battlefield, as it changes the course of war and saves the lives of our military. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure the rapid development and delivery of UAVs so that our defenders have a technological advantage over the enemy.

The adopted resolution simplifies customs clearance of military and dual-use goods. From now on, importers will be able to import such goods without obtaining a permit from the State Export Control Service.

In addition, the legislative change will boost the development of Ukrainian defense production. We continue to work to make our army the most technologically advanced and victorious.
