  • Power engineers of Chernihiv region received 250 tonnes of equipment for restoration works

    The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine has handed over another batch of equipment weighing about 17 tonnes to JSC Chernihivoblenergo. The cargo includes transformers, switchgear, telemechanics control cabinets, and other materials required for repair and restoration works. The humanitarian aid came from Slovenia, Italy, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and Estonia.

    “The energy infrastructure of Chernihiv region has been under enemy attacks since the first days of russia’s full-scale invasion. Power engineers of the region are working 24/7 to restore the facilities to ensure a stable energy supply for the residents of Chernihiv region. I am grateful to our international partners for the equipment provided, which will help speed up the restoration work,” said Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.

    In total, about 250 tonnes of power equipment were distributed to Chernihivoblenergo under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy.
