ECA supports over UAH 9 billion in exports since start of year
In the first eight months of 2025, Ukraine’s Export Credit Agency (ECA) has supported non-commodity exports worth UAH 9.15 billion. This marks an 83.7% increase compared to the same period last year, when the total volume reached UAH 4.98 billion.
“Businesses are increasingly utilising ECA tools – such as export contract and credit insurance – which reduce the risk of non-payment and help secure additional financing. As a result, compared to the same period in 2024, the volume of supported non-commodity exports has grown by 83.7%. State support enables Ukrainian producers to confidently enter new markets and promote Made in Ukraine products abroad,” said Andrii Teliupa, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.
From January to August, credit agreements worth over UAH 1 billion were insured, with every hryvnia of insurance liability generating UAH 8.8 in export revenue.
The largest volumes of supported exports were recorded in Lviv region (UAH 2.48 billion), followed by Khmelnytskyi region (UAH 1.36 billion), Ternopil region (UAH 1.15 billion), and Volyn region (UAH 1.15 billion). In Kyiv, UAH 566 million in exports were supported, in Odesa region – UAH 534 million, in Mykolaiv region – UAH 392 million, and in Ivano-Frankivsk region – UAH 325 million.

Significant exports also went to Austria (UAH 1.07 billion), Lithuania (UAH 554 million), the Netherlands (UAH 511 million), and Germany (UAH 460 million).
