The state should always maintain a dialogue with the church, create a common vision of the future. Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said today at his meeting with the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk.
"Our common mission now is to develop the state and spirituality. Hence, faith is the foundation we can build well-being and prosperity on. I have every confidence that this can be done through dialogue", the Head of Government said.
According to him, meetings of representatives of public authorities and the clergy help to outline common steps for the development of the country, better understand the current tasks and the future cooperation.
In turn, the Head of the UGCC stressed that it was important for them to build the partnership with state institutions. And each dialogue and meeting is "an opportunity to serve for the common good of our people and our state".
