    Since the beginning of 2024, businesses have received 24,746 soft loans under the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme totalling UAH 93.1 billion. Since the launch of the programme in February 2020, businesses have raised 103,700 loans worth UAH 360 billion. Last week, Ukrainian entrepreneurs received 270 soft loans worth UAH 1 billion.

    “Since the beginning of the war, the Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% programme has been supporting businesses that have suffered losses due to armed russian aggression. But this spring, the Government modernised the terms of the programme to refocus this type of state support on investment lending, production development and the creation of high value-added products.

    Since then, the vast majority of new loans have been issued for the development of manufacturing, investment purposes and support for businesses operating in the high-risk combat zone. The development of the real sector of the economy is one of the key areas of the Made in Ukraine policy,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

    Under the programme, businesses received:

    • UAH 23 billion for manufacturing;
    • UAH 22.6 billion to replenish working capital;
    • UAH 21.8 billion for lending in the high-risk combat zone;
    • UAH 19.6 billion for investment loans.

    The most commonly lent businesses are those operating in agriculture, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade.

    Among the regions, the leaders in terms of loan agreements are Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava regions and the city of Kyiv.

    As of today, 46 banks participate in the programme, with Privatbank (48,200), Oschadbank (15,800) and Ukrgasbank (5,700) disbursing the largest number of loans since the programme’s launch.
