"I always say that the road to the temple should be free - without barriers and restrictions - this is the basis on which everything else should be built", Volodymyr Groysman emphasized.
The Major Archbishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), His Beatitude Sviatoslav agreed and stressed that the church should become not only a place for prayer, but a partner for society and assistant in strengthening and uniting the country.
"We want our experience be dedicated to serve our state", the Major Archbishop of the UGCC said. "We must unite our state by strengthening confidence in the institutions."
His Beatitude Sviatoslav named the education of youth as one of the examples of such a partnership. The Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, which the Head of Government visited at the beginning of this year, is one of the institutions where such work is carried out. "Education and investing (resources) in youth is a tremendous work. We are also committed to be partners in this direction", the Major Archbishop of the UGCC underlined.
He thanked the Prime Minister for his visit.
