Additional revenues obtained from the payment of customs duties made up UAH 70 billion. It became possible due to  the abolition of shadow schemes and to the effective fight against corruption at the border. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during A Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada.

He recalled that the eradication of the money laundering scheme for value added tax became possible due to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. "Now everything is transparent, without any problems", Volodymyr Groysman stressed.

Apart from that, the Head of Government called on lawmakers to comprehensively pay attention to the work of the State Fiscal Service and actively respond to cases of violations of law or pressure on business not only from the fiscal authorities, but also from other law enforcement agencies, which from time to time still abuse its powers.
