Employments offices should become centers for preventing labor migration, claims Prime Minister
The existing network of employment centers in Ukraine should refocus its line of work towards creation of a decent supply of personnel in the labor market and prevention of outflow of the labor force. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during A Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada.
"We need to reorient employment centers - to support the (workers) and fight against labor migration", the Head of Government emphasized.
"He stressed that the issue of Ukrainian labor migrants who search for a better place of work is not a new one , and it had been shaped for decades. "The problem exists and it's complicated. It is inertial. How many waves of migration did we have? Many people who look for a better luck have left. And those who were engaged in the economy at that time, just did not pay attention to this problem. Our task is to find a solution! It is possible to achieve in the medium term. Thus, we need the support of the Parliament, including in creating motivation (for employees to stay in Ukraine)", the Prime Minister underscored.
