Over 93% of residential buildings and 85% of social facilities in the regions of Ukraine are connected to heat supply. Eleven regions reported on the 100% launch of the heating season. This was announced by Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development Natalia Khotsianivska during an online briefing.
"Connection of buildings and social spere facilities to heat supply in Ukraine sees its final stage. As of November 8, 11 regions have a corresponding indicator of 100%. These include Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Rivne, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions. Other regions report more than 90% of heat supply connections. The southern regions started the process a little later, due to climatic features," Natalia Khotsianivska stressed.
The Deputy Minister also noted that one of the most important points of the Memorandum on the stable passage of the heating season was the constant cost of heat supply.
"Regions adhere to this condition, so heating prices for people remain at the level of the previous heating season," said Natalia Khotsianivska.
It should be noted, according to the Memorandum on sustainable passing of a heating season, in this autumn-winter period one of the lowest in the market of prices for gas for producers of heat (district heating providers) for the population - UAH 7,420 per 1,000 cubic meters including VAT is provided (according to the three-year contract for the supply of natural gas offered by Naftogaz under Volume I "Fixed"). The price for budgetary institutions and religious organizations is UAH 16.4 per cubic meter including VAT.
Work continues on settling the debts of district heating companies to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. The enterprises of the branch enter in the Register and sign restructuring agreements with them.
