Before year-end, nearly 100 thousand Ukrainian children will receive an assistance from the state - the baby box, which includes the necessary things for newborns. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman. The initiative was kicked off in September as part of the Government's policy of increasing the birth rate.

"The Government has launched a new initiative – the baby box. These packages being already given to the kids include the most needed things for the newborns - this is our additional contribution to the health of little Ukrainians. "The main thing is to ensure increase in the birth rate", Volodymyr Groysman underscored. "We have fulfilled 59% of all applications. By the end of the year, nearly 100, 000 small Ukrainians will receive a baby box.  We are just at the beginning".
