Up to UAH 1 million for business: Government updates Vlasna Sprava grant programme
Now even more Ukrainians will be able to receive state funding to start or expand their own businesses. The Government has adopted a resolution updating the Vlasna Sprava (Own Business) programme.
What Will Change:
More Participants. Grants can now be obtained not only by veterans and their spouses, but also by their parents and adult children, as well as individuals with war-related disabilities.
Increased Grants. From 1 January 2026, the Government plans to raise the maximum grant amounts:
- UAH 100,000 – without the requirement to create jobs;
- UAH 200,000 – for one job created;
- UAH 300,000 – for two jobs created;
- UAH 200,000 – for youth aged 18–25;
- UAH 1,000,000 – for families of fallen or missing defenders, provided four jobs are created.
Repeat Grant Opportunity. If an entrepreneur successfully implements the first project, they can receive an additional micro-grant for further development.
New Bank in the Programme. Grant accounts can now also be opened at Sense Bank, in addition to PrivatBank and Oschadbank.
Over three years, more than 28,000 Ukrainians have started or expanded their businesses with the Vlasna Sprava programme, creating over 51,000 new jobs.
