Ukraine and Turkey will join efforts to maintain trade and support economies. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and his Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu agreed during a telephone conversation that took place on Friday, March 27.
Turkey's Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to Ukraine for its assistance in returning Turkish nationals back home from around the world. For his part, Dmytro Kuleba thanked his counterpart for the similar assistance by Turkey with regard to Ukrainian citizens.
"At this difficult time, we are joining efforts with our Turkish friends to withstand the challenges of the pandemic, to protect our citizens and entrepreneurs," Dmytro Kuleba emphasized.
The Foreign Ministers paid special attention to finding a solution to the problem of freight transportation to and transit through Turkey.
