SSSCIP and DG HOME deepen cooperation on critical infrastructure protection and special communications

The Chairman of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine (SSSCIP), Oleksandr Potii, met with Olivier Onidi, Deputy Director-General of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME), on the sidelines of the TCCA Critical Communications World (CCW) 2026 in London, United Kingdom.

The discussions focused on bolstering joint efforts in critical infrastructure protection and special communications.

The SSSCIP Chairman thanked Olivier Onidi and his team for providing expert support to the Service in drafting regulatory documents to align Ukraine's national legislation with the EU Critical Entities Resilience (CER) Directive. He also shared updates on current initiatives and projects that the SSSCIP is implementing to safeguard critical infrastructure.

DG HOME and the SSSCIP are working together under a Roadmap and an agreed Action Plan for 2026. This partnership aims to ensure the effective implementation of the joint security commitments signed between the European Union and Ukraine in 2024.
