  • State Border Guard Service on the situation on the western border of Ukraine
Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, posted 07 March 2022 10:30

During the day on March 6, almost 134,000 people and more than 16,000 vehicles crossed the state border of Ukraine in the western part.

Passenger traffic remained at the level of the previous day, but the number of people waiting to cross the border remains quite significant.

WE CALL! You can get to the EU not only through the Ukrainian-Polish border! At the border with Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Molodova, checkpoints are almost empty or minimally congested.

WE ADVISE TO CHECK their load on the Facebook page of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine-Western Border. Updated information is provided every three hours.

By the way, more than 117,000 people were expelled from Ukraine last night. The majority of travelers - 84,000 people - chose checkpoints on the Polish section. As a result, there was a significant accumulation of people and cars. Border guards of Ukraine, as well as their foreign counterparts, are taking all possible measures to speed up access procedures to leave Ukraine.

Last day, 16.5 thousand people returned to Ukraine, of which about 13 thousand are citizens of Ukraine! We are proud of our compatriots who are going to defend the Motherland at this anxious time!

We remind you that all checkpoints on the western border are open 24 hours a day.

Border guards and customs officers continue providing a pass humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian population and our army. Over the past day on the western border were passed almost 900 vehicles with charitable goods.

WE ASK ALL CITIZENS at the border to adhere to law and order, order and norms of morality when crossing the border and not to offer bribes to border guards for extraordinary or illegal border crossing!
