  • State Budget 2025: support for war veterans

    Next year, we will continue to provide veterans with the necessary services and help them with their post-war integration into civilian life.

    The priorities in supporting veterans in 2025 are mental and physical rehabilitation, integration into social and economic life, creation of opportunities to meet the needs of war veterans, and the highest quality and comprehensive provision of support and services to those who defended the independence of Ukraine.

    The Government actively supports veterans programmes, and next year the state budget allocates UAH 10.5 billion for this purpose, namely:

    • UAH 2.9 billion to support the activities of specialists in supporting veterans and demobilised persons in the transition from military service to civilian life;
    • UAH 1.7 billion for mental, sports, physical, psychological rehabilitation and professional adaptation;
    • We continue to support veterans through the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation. Compared to 2024, Compared to 2024, expenditures are increased by almost UAH 60 million and amount to UAH 348 million.

    UAH 4.9 billion was allocated under the Public Investment Projects, including:

    • Almost UAH 4 billion for housing for veterans and family members of the fallen defenders;
    • UAH 500 million for the National Military Memorial Cemetery;
    • UAH 450 million for the development of veterans spaces.
